Third-generation single-cable multi-switches – digital channel-stacking switch (dCSS) with cutting-edge full-band capturing technology


  • Cascadable twin multi-switches: For different outputs, different configurations / number of user bands can be selected by means of rotary switches
  • Userband frequencies compatible with previous Kathrein models
  • Multifeed by simply interconnecting the outputs with the splitter EBC 110
  • Single-cable command set EN 50494 and the new extended command set EN 50607 (SCD 2) are supported
  • Future-proof due to Wideband Technology (wideband inputs); having wideband LNBs up to four satellite positions are possible
  • The integrated AGC (automatic gain control) ensures a constant output level of Sat IF signals and more reserve in the distribution
  • Multi-tuner devices, such as UFS 926, can be supplied with a multitude of user bands on one drop cable
  • PIN code: Protects the user frequency from being accessed by another user. This allows installation in apartment buildings
  • Up to eight multi-switches can be cascaded
  • Thanks to the power-saving concept the multi-switch needs no power from the NCF 18 when the receiver is not turned on.

  • Configurable single cable multi-switch for up to 24 (2 x 12) users bands, and an external power supply for the LNB supply
  • "Kathrein Power-Saving" with selectable rotary knob and can be switched off
  • NCF 18:

  • ighly efficient, short-circuit proof switching power supply in accordance with ERP directive
  • EXD 2524:

  • Configurable throughput multiswitch for system expansion for up to 24 (2 x 12) user bands
  • Kathrein Power Saving: As soon as all receivers are inactive, a signal is sent to the end multi-switch via the "vertical low" trunk which then cuts off the LNB voltage supply.
  • Optimal supply with NCF 18 possible
