Quality policy
For decades now, KATHREIN-Werke KG has been supplying the entire world market with components and systems for antenna and communication technology. Our high market share has been achieved mainly through the high quality and good value of our products. The chief guiding principle of our company is to ensure that all products, activities and services correspond to the requirements of our customers, legal regulations and internal company demands.
The management of KATHREIN-Werke KG is responsible for the quality of our products and it transfers all quality control-related duties to the head of our Quality Management department.
Through our Quality Management System all necessary activities and the relevant individual implementation responsibilities for achieving maximum and continuous product quality are determined. The chief essential principle here is that quality is ensured not just through checking, but can only be achieved through the commitment of every employee and the excellent co-operation between all departments involved. Particular value is laid on the fact that employees from all specialist departments help to guarantee the quality of our products and services.

It is the duty of each employee in our company to contribute to achieving and ensuring quality and the existence of an organisational unit for quality assurance does not limit this employee responsibility. The commitments laid down in our Integrated Management System documentation are binding for all employees.
The DIN EN ISO 9001: 2008 standard is used as the requirement level for KATHREIN-Werke KG's quality system and all employees are obliged to act in accordance with the basic principles of this standard. Moreover, KATHREIN-Werke KG is a member of the German Association for Quality (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Qualität e.V. - DGQ) and follows this association's basic principles.
