ZVEI - German electrical and electronic manufacturers association e. V.
ZVEI represents the economic, technological and ecopolitical interests of the German electrical and electronics industry on a national, European and international level. It provides specific information on the economic, technical and legal framework conditions for this industry in Germany.
ZVEI promotes the development and implementation of new technologies by making suggestions on research policy, technological policy, environmental protection, education and scientific policy. It supports market-related international standardisation work.
The basis of the work in the association is an exchange of experience and opinions between members on current technical, economic, legal and socio-political subjects surrounding the German electrical and electronics industry. From this, common positions are worked out.
The close contact ZVEI has with politics and public administration as well as the exchange of experience within the association result in comprehensive information especially adapted to the specific requirements of the electrical and electronics industry on market and competition-relevant developments. The member companies use this information advantage to improve their international competiveness.
 
ANGA - Association of private cable networks operators in Germany e. V.
ANGA is the most important body representing the interests of private cable network operators in Germany. It represents operators of cable television networks, of communal antenna and communication systems, residential associations, satellite operators, service providers as well as manufacturers in the antenna and system component industries. More than 100 companies are members of ANGA, which using TV cable networks with television and radio programs supply more than 7.5 million contractually bound residential units and offer telecommunication and telemetry services via cable networks.
The main task of ANGA is to represent the members interests and those of their customers when dealing with all partners in the market as well as the relevant state institutions.
 
OBSAI - Open Base Station Architecture Initiative
The Open Base Station Architecture Initiative (OBSAI) is a new organization formed among leading base station vendors, module and component manufacturers to create a set of open specifications for base station architecture. By defining a basic modular architecture and the detailed specifications for the internal interfaces between modules, OBSAI aims to create an open market for cellular base stations.
