”CommunicAsia 2009“ in Singapore
Sri Lanka interested in Kathrein antennas
The maypole and the Bavarian beer garden at Kathrein’s exhibition stand at the “CommunicAsia“ in Singapore both stand for the company’s home region. Bavaria is also a key topic for the Asian
experts – they show a particular interest in Bavarian technology from Rosenheim, which is definitely a big success for Kathrein. Ever since Kathrein equipped Bavarian and German public
broadcasting services with professional antenna systems for digital TV, this reference has generated growing enthusiasm abroad. Technicians from Lloyds in Sri Lanka recently contacted
Kathrein to inform themselves on the numerous projects completed in the area of infrastructure and, among other things, to plan a TV tower for transmission of various TV programmes.
Kathrein antennas are predestined for this kind of project, in fact, the company has already received the order.
At the “CommunicAsia“, one of Asia’s largest international shows for communication, interactive media and information technology, 1,923 exhibitors from 60 countries presented their
innovations on an area of 58,000 m˛. A total of 54,354 visitors crowded the halls during the four-day exhibition in Singapore.
