Kathrein at the most important media exhibition in the Middle East

The CABSAT at the Dubai World Trade Centre is considered the largest and most important show for electronic media and satellite communication in the Middle East, Africa and Southern Asia. With over 650 exhibitors from over 50 countries, the exhibi-tion was once again a high-profile event, which took place at the beginning of March. Together with group member KATHREIN-Middle East, who are based in Dubai, KATHREIN-Werke KG presented their products for satellite TV reception. Experts of the trade paid particular attention to the new MSK 200, a measuring instrument for satellite reception. The device even won an award from DrDish-TV, and the busi-nessman Prof. Dr. Anton Kathrein was there to accept it.
Kathrein: "The DrDish-TV award is one of the highlights of this show in Dubai. The award is given to those who stand out for their high-quality products, professional services and innovative ideas in the field of digital TV and communication technolo-gies via satellite." An international jury made up of impartial experts determined the winners. Kathrein (in picture, 3rd from right): "This award for our high-tech measure-ment instrument is of course at the same time a welcome start for commercial launch. Winning a prize in Dubai for a measuring instrument that is 'Made in Germany' or better yet, for one 'Made in Bavaria', now that’s just something special."
