katek: An ultra-modern receiver manufacturer
"DIGITAL fernsehen" reports on the Grassau-based company

In its February edition, the TV programme and media magazine "DIGITAL fernsehen" reported on the Grassau-based company katek. Two editors visited the "ultra-modern production facility in Chiemgau", where the Rosenheim-based antenna specialist Kathrein also has its digital satellite receivers produced.
In 2003 alone, 500,000 devices were produced at katek, "one of the most modern receiver manufacturers in Germany." Wolfgang Fritsch, katek’s sales director said, "Of course we immediately had offprints made of these items, which we will hand out to our visitors and potential customers at trade fairs." In early summer, katek will expand its production capacity with a new 5,000 square-meter production hall.
