Antennas for mobile communication

Kathrein is the world market-leader in the field of base-station antennas for mobile communication networks, with a monthly production output of over 100,000 antennas. Our customers include all the major system suppliers, as well as more than 250 single network operators world-wide.

Furthermore we offer a complete product portfolio of components such as combiners, filters or amplifiers. These are called Antenna Line Devices (ALD). Therefore Kathrein offers all necessary components from one source. Our current product portfolio in the field of mobile communications ranges from 25 to 6000 MHz, and comprises products for all cellular networks and antennas for bus, rail and ground-to-air communications.

Kathrein's mobile communication antennas are characterized not only by their outstanding electrical specifications, but also special attention is paid to the mechanical parameters. Products are designed to conform with the European Telecommunications Standard (ETS 300 019 - 1 - 4). The requirements of this standard are not only completely satisfied, but in some cases even exceeded. All the necessary tests are performed in-house, and at our antenna production facilities we fully test every single one of our antennas to ensure that they comply with all the technical specifications regarding e.g. VSWR, decoupling or intermodulation.
