Apprenticeship with Kathrein
We take great responsibility for the education and the training of our tomorrow’s specialised staff. In times of
increasing lack of specialists, we have been making it our business for decades to train beyond the demands, and, in this vein, initiate a development in
personal and professional respects in the youths.
30 young people on average do an apprenticeship in technical and commercial professions at Kathrein. The apprentices in a technical job are taught all
relevant basics in theory and practice in our modern training workshops. These precious experiences can then be completed when the apprentices work in the
individual departments.
Apprentices in commercial jobs pass through all relevant departments during a period of max. 3 years. This serves as the ideal completion of the lessons
in the vocational schools.
Our philosophy has been proving its worth for many years, which becomes clear on a nationwide scale year after year, when our apprentices are able to pass
their final exams with outstanding results and are awarded public prizes.
Usually all commercial and technical specialists are taken over in a firm employer-employee relationship after they have completed their apprenticeships.
From then on, they have every possibility to start an excellent career if they show commitment.
